In Nigeria, this is the first impact of the first case of Coronavirus identified in the country. Authorities on Friday ordered the closure of an Ogun state cement plant and quarantined 28 of the agents after the Italian patient’s visit.

On his arrival from his country where more than 300 cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been identified for nearly 10 deaths, the Italian went to the cement production plant of Ewekoro, in the Ogun state (southwest) where he is acting as a consultant.

Some three days later, the consultant was found positive for Coronavirus. He had his first aid at the cement plant clinic.

In order to curb any spread, the governor of Ogun, Dapo Abiodun ordered the closure of the Ewekoro cement plant. As for the 28 agents present during the Italian’s visit, they were quarantined.

Dapo Abiodun also urged the population not to panic because the situation “is under control”.

Since its declaration in late 2019 in mainland China where it has already affected 78,824 people including 2,788 deaths, the Coronavirus has already affected all continents, except Oceania. A grid that sows at any wind in the four corners of the Earth, the climate of great fright worthy of horror films.
