Choosing among the African vacation destinations can be difficult, as there are numerous vacation destinations in Africa counting from luxury accommodations in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, and other places in Africa.

There is much to see and do on Africa vacations in addition, the wildlife; however, as the continent’s natural wonders are simply stunning.

Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, is on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe, and this sight alone draws visitors to Africa, whether they’re planning unique luxury vacations or simply looking to see one of the world’s wonders.

1. Lake Malawi, Malawi

Lake Malawi is one of the most beautiful Lakes in the world. But people don’t come here just to gaze at the water. The lake is a home to about 1,300 different species of tropical fish, which makes it a ‘must-visit’ location for those interested in freshwater diving.

2. Sof Omar Caves, Ethiopia

There is a tiny Muslim village called Sof Omar in Bale, Ethiopia. This little place has the most amazing network of natural caves. These caves, that go deep into the Earth, were formed by the Wab River as it made its way down from the adjoining mountains.

If you have heart, you can travel to this part of Ethiopia, pick up a torchlight, and more courage than you can master, then start your journey towards the center of the Earth.

You will get to see arched portals, echoing chambers that cut deep into the belly of Mother Earth and high eroded ceilings. It is an adventure, to say the least.
